Applier vs LoopCV
LoopCV describes itself as an AI-powered job search automation platform. You set job titles and locations, and it finds matching jobs, applies on your behalf and can email recruiters.
The short answer
- Choose Applier if you want applications sent on the employer's own site, a new cover letter for each role, and hiring-team emails from your own Gmail.
- Choose LoopCV if you want auto-apply across 30+ job boards, recruiter emails from templates, and A/B testing to compare CVs.
Why pick Applier over LoopCV
- Your applications go in on the employer's own application form or applicant tracking system, not a job board's apply button. LoopCV's website lists LinkedIn, Indeed and Glassdoor among the job boards it applies to, plus a Chrome extension for LinkedIn Easy Apply jobs.
- Every application includes a new cover letter written for that role. LoopCV's website doesn't say it writes one for each application.
- Applier tailors your resume to each job ad's wording. LoopCV's website puts per-job CV adapting in its AI CV Builder, which it says is on paid plans only, and says Auto-Apply uses the CV saved in your profile.
- Introductions to the hiring team come from your own Gmail, so replies land in your inbox, and Applier schedules follow-ups 3 and 7 business days later. LoopCV's help center says its outreach goes from a loopcv.com address, and its follow-up tool is a template you copy and send yourself.
- Employer verification emails go to an application mailbox Applier gives you. LoopCV's website doesn't say it handles verification emails.
It applies on the employer's own site, whatever it uses
- Applier applies on the employer's own application form, whatever system the company uses: Workday, Greenhouse, Lever or its own careers page. It isn't tied to a list of supported systems.
- It never signs in to your LinkedIn, Indeed or other job-board accounts. Applications go to the employer directly, not through the board.
- There's no browser extension to install. Applier runs on its own servers and never needs access to your browser, so it keeps applying while your computer is off.
When LoopCV may suit you better
- Its site says it scans LinkedIn, Indeed, Glassdoor and 30+ job boards every day, and applies on its servers, so your computer can be off.
- Its site says there's a free plan to start with no card needed.
- It emails recruiters from templates you pick or write, and its analytics cover email opens, replies and which CVs perform best, including CV A/B testing.
- Its homepage lists a CV builder, CV checker, job application tracker and email finder alongside auto-apply, plus versions that run inside ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini and Cursor.

How LoopCV works
According to its website, you upload your CV, pick job titles, locations and filters, and LoopCV creates a "loop" that scans job boards for matches. With Auto-Apply on, it submits applications for matches that support an application process it can complete automatically, filling the form, uploading your CV and clicking submit, using the CV and details saved in your profile. It also offers a Chrome extension for listings it marks as Extension Supported, which needs you logged in to the job platform in your browser, and it emails recruiters at a company using a template you pick or write. Application questions it meets are collected in a Questions tab for you to answer once, and AI Answering can fill them in on Premium plans. Turn Auto-Apply off and you review each match before applying with one click. Its help center says outreach emails go from a LoopCV email address, with a custom SMTP account as an option.

What still needs you
- Applier fills in answers you haven't given and lists them under Answers to check, so you can confirm or correct each one.

- Some applications can't be finished; these show as Failed in your dashboard.

Frequently asked questions
Does LoopCV apply while my computer is off?
LoopCV's site says Auto-Apply runs on its servers, so searches and applications continue when your computer is off. Its Chrome extension route is different: it runs in your browser, and LoopCV's site says you need to be logged in to the job platform. Applier also runs on its own servers, so it applies while your computer is off.
Can I approve each application before LoopCV sends it?
Yes, according to LoopCV's site: turn off Auto-Apply and use the One-Click Apply feature to review each matched job and apply with a single click, or use the Master Auto-Apply switch to stop automatic applications across all job searches. In Applier, Review mode lets you approve each application, while Hybrid and Auto apply on their own.
Does LoopCV email recruiters or hiring managers?
Yes. LoopCV's homepage says it finds the recruiter's email at a company and sends a personalized email from a template you pick or write, and its help center says those emails go out from a loopcv.com address, with a custom SMTP account optional. It doesn't describe sending follow-ups for you. Applier emails people on the hiring team from your own Gmail, 1, 2 or 3 contacts per application depending on plan, and follows up 3 and 7 business days later.
