Applier features

Applier is an AI job application service. It finds open roles that match your profile, tailors your resume and cover letter to each one, submits the application on the employer's own site, then emails the hiring team from your Gmail. This page lists everything it does, area by area, and what still needs you. For the short version, see how Applier works.

Your search

  • A questionnaire that becomes your brief. Tell Applier the roles, locations, remote work, minimum salary and work authorization you want, and upload your resume. Answers save as you go, so you can stop and pick up again on another device once you've signed in.
  • Up to five job titles, with an option to search only the exact title, plus titles to avoid.
  • Exclusions. Name companies and industries you don't want. Applier tells you up front that company aliases and industry labels may not catch everything.
  • Where you can work. Set the countries you're allowed to work in, whether you need sponsorship and when a visa expires.
  • A note in your own words about what you want, which Applier reads when it judges a match.
  • Background and employer questions, such as education, years of experience, relocation and licenses, plus optional questions employers ask, such as equal-opportunity questions. Skip any of them; a skipped equal-opportunity question is answered "Prefer not to say" or left blank.
  • A preview before you start. You see a sample resume and cover letter tailored to one matching job before you choose how to begin.
  • Continuous matching. Applier keeps checking new roles against your profile and labels each match a strong match, a stretch or a related role.
  • Held matches, explained. Even in Auto, a match waits for you when Applier can't confirm it fits a rule you set, such as an employer you excluded or a country it can't confirm, and the dashboard says why.
  • Pause matching at any time without touching applications or introductions.

Resumes, cover letters and interview packs

  • One master resume. Upload a PDF or Word file and Applier lays it out in a standard, ATS-friendly format. You preview the new version before it replaces your current resume, and your original stays available.
  • A tailored resume for every role, matched to the job ad's wording, and a new cover letter written for that role. Both are downloadable as PDFs from the job's page.
  • An interview pack for any submitted application. It covers the role at a glance and how your experience matches each requirement; stories from your resume to use; a company and role brief; likely behavioral, role-specific and common questions with suggested answers drawn from your resume; likely concerns and how to answer them; salary, notice period and work rights; the screening answers you gave; and questions to ask them. Download it as a PDF or as text, and generate it again whenever you like.

Applying

  • On the employer's own site. Applier fills in and submits the application on the employer's application form or applicant tracking system, whatever the company uses, never through a job board's quick-apply button. It never needs your job-board accounts.
  • Three modes. Review: you approve each job before Applier applies. Hybrid: strong matches go on their own and stretches and related roles wait for you. Auto: every match goes on its own, strong matches first. Before you switch to a less hands-on mode, Applier tells you how many waiting jobs that will approve.
  • No extension, no laptop left open. Applier runs on its own servers, so it applies while your computer is off.
  • Monthly allowances. Starter covers up to 100 applications a month, Pro 200 and Max 400, and higher plans get higher queue priority. A one-time pack adds 50 applications after your allowance runs out. The 7-day free trial sends up to 10.
  • Clear outcomes. Every application shows where it stands, including Failed with the reason when one couldn't be finished.

Employer email and the Inbox

  • An application mailbox. Applier gives you a private application address, so employer email, including verification codes, doesn't wait on you. Or choose to use your own Gmail for everything.
  • Verification handled. Codes and links that employers email are used for the application they belong to.
  • An Inbox in your dashboard with every employer email, labelled automatically: application confirmation, recruiter engaged, incomplete application, interview invite, interview follow-up, interview feedback, assessment invite, assessment result, not this time, offer, verification code and EEO form. Search, filter by label, show unread only, and download attachments.
  • Reply from the thread, or reply to everyone on it, up to 20 replies a day and 5 to any one message. Mark a message "No reply needed" when it doesn't need one. Applier won't let you reply to suspicious mail or to no-reply addresses, and flags suspicious messages.

Emails to the hiring team

  • From your own Gmail. After an application is submitted, Applier finds people on the hiring team and writes each a short introduction, sent from your Gmail so replies come straight to you: 1 contact per application on Starter and during the free trial, 2 on Pro, 3 on Max.
  • Your tailored resume attached. Each introduction carries the resume tailored to that job as a PDF.
  • Two follow-ups, in the same thread, 3 and 7 business days after the introduction. They stop as soon as the person replies.
  • Your call on approval. Introductions have their own Review, Hybrid and Auto modes and start in Review. In Review, you see who each introduction and follow-up is for, the subject, the body and the attached resume, and approve or decline it.
  • Replies surface in your dashboard. Applier picks up replies in your Gmail and shows them as needing you. Job mail in your Gmail gets an Applier label, and verification-code mail is archived for you.
  • Pause introductions on their own, without stopping applications.
  • Stays inside Gmail's limits. Sending stays under Gmail's daily limit. Connecting Gmail uses an app password you can revoke, and Applier never deletes email. What Applier does with your Gmail.

What happens next varies. In our own records from October 2026, most people didn't reply, and those who did usually answered within hours; here's what 981 introductions got back.

Your dashboard

  • Home shows what needs you right now: jobs to review, introductions and follow-ups to approve, replies, and interview, assessment and offer emails.
  • Review works like a deck: swipe or use the keyboard to approve, decline or skip, and undo a skip.
  • Jobs lists every match and application, with filters for status and fit, search and sorting. Each job's page shows the posting, the skills that matched, why it fits, your tailored documents, the people Applier emailed, a timeline and the emails about it.
  • Answers to check. When an application asked something you hadn't answered, Applier lists the answer it gave. Confirm it or correct it, and Applier uses yours from then on. Your answers build into a library you can add to, edit and delete.
  • Activity shows applications sent, replies and interviews this week, how many applications you have left, and a 7, 30 or 90-day chart.
  • Settings for what you're looking for, how hands-off Applier is, email, notifications, background answers and employer questions.
  • Quick ways around: a command palette to jump to companies, roles and pages, keyboard shortcuts, a guided tour, and a feedback button that can include a screenshot or a short screen recording.

Emails Applier sends you

  • Job updates when an employer sends an interview invite, an assessment or an offer.
  • Needs you: a daily email when something is waiting on you, sent during the working day in your time zone, plus a sooner nudge when jobs are waiting for your review.
  • A weekly summary every Monday of applications, replies and interviews.
  • Reminders while your setup is unfinished.
  • Account alerts when Gmail disconnects, when you've used your monthly applications, when sending has stalled, and before your free trial ends.
  • Switch job updates, needs-you emails, the weekly summary and reminders on or off in Settings. Billing and account emails always send.

Trial, plans and the interview guarantee

  • A 7-day free trial: up to 10 applications and 1 hiring-team contact per application. A card is needed to start and nothing is charged until it ends. Pick Hybrid or Review for applications when you start. During the trial, choose the plan it continues as, change your card, cancel, or start your plan early. There's one free trial per person.
  • Three plans: Starter, Pro and Max, which differ in monthly applications, hiring-team contacts per application and queue priority. Upgrade, buy a 50-application pack, update your card or cancel from Billing.
  • An interview guarantee on your first paid month: if at least 100 applications are sent within 30 days of your first sent application and no interview invitation email arrives in your application inbox or connected Gmail, that month is refunded. A card in your dashboard tracks progress, and you can request the refund in one tap. Read the refund policy.
  • Referrals. Share your personal link; when a friend's first funded application goes out, you both get 50 extra applications, used after your monthly allowance while you have an active plan.

Your account and data

  • Sign in with Google or with a 6-digit code sent to your email.
  • Profile details such as your name, phone, LinkedIn and time zone, editable at any time.
  • Export everything as one file: your profile, preferences, matches, applications, documents, email, introductions and answers.
  • Disconnect Gmail in Settings: Applier deletes the stored app password and pauses introductions.
  • Delete your account: automation stops, your subscription is cancelled, and your data is permanently deleted after a 30-day grace period. See the privacy policy.

What still needs you

  • When an application asks something you haven't answered, Applier fills in an answer and lists it under Answers to check. You can confirm or correct it, and Applier uses yours from then on.
  • Some applications can't be finished; these show as Failed in your dashboard.
  • Applications stop when you reach your monthly allowance, until your next billing month or until you add a pack.
  • Applications and introductions go out in your name, so keep your resume and profile accurate.
