AI tools that email the hiring manager for you

By the Applier team · Updated October 25, 2026 · Applier is our product

Applier is our product, so we've listed it first and stuck to what each company says on its own website. Here's how each tool reaches the hiring team, and who it suits.

What to look for

  • Whose inbox it sends from. Email from your own account means replies come straight to you, and the person sees your name rather than a tool's address.
  • Who it emails, and how many. A short note to the person who owns the role beats a message to everyone at the company. See hiring manager or recruiter: who to contact.
  • Follow-ups. One or two polite follow-ups in the same thread is a common schedule; more reads as pressure. See when to follow up.
  • Approval. Check whether you can read and approve each email before it goes out.
  • Whether it applies too. An email works best once your application is in and the email says so. In our own data, people we emailed often asked for the application through the job ad first; see what 981 introductions got back.

How we compared them

We checked each tool's website for five things about how its emails reach the hiring team:

  • Emails the hiring team for you
  • Sends from your own email account
  • Sends follow-ups for you
  • Lets you approve each email first
  • Also submits your applications

We left out prices, which change often; check each tool's site.

1. Applier: best for hands-off applying on employer sites, plus emails to the hiring manager

Applier is an AI job application service. It finds open roles that match your profile, tailors your resume and cover letter to each one, submits the application on the employer's site, then emails the hiring manager from your Gmail.

  • Emails the hiring team for you: Yes — from your Gmail, 1 to 3 contacts per application by plan, with follow-ups 3 and 7 business days later
  • Sends from your own email account: Yes — your own Gmail, so replies come straight to you
  • Sends follow-ups for you: Yes — 3 and 7 business days later, as replies in the same thread
  • Lets you approve each email first: Yes — in Review mode, where introductions start; Hybrid and Auto send on their own
  • Also submits your applications: Yes — on the employer's own application form or applicant tracking system, never through a job board's quick-apply button
  • Each introduction goes to a named person on the hiring team and carries the resume tailored to that job as a PDF. Follow-ups go in the same thread and stop as soon as the person replies.
  • In Review mode, you see each introduction and follow-up before it goes out: who it is for, the subject, the body and the attached resume. Approve or decline each one.
  • Replies land in your Gmail and show in your dashboard as needing you. Job mail in your Gmail gets an Applier label.
  • You can pause introductions on their own, without stopping applications. Sending stays under Gmail's daily limit.

New members can try Applier free for 7 days, and the first paid month is backed by an interview guarantee.

What still needs you: Applier fills in answers you haven't given and lists them for you to check. Some applications can't be finished; these show as Failed in your dashboard. How Applier works.

2. LoopCV: best for mass applying across many job boards, with recruiter emails and CV testing

LoopCV describes itself as an AI-powered job search automation platform. You set job titles and locations, and it finds matching jobs, applies on your behalf and can email recruiters.

  • Emails the hiring team for you: Yes — finds the recruiter's email at a company and sends a personalized email using a template you pick from its predefined set or write yourself
  • Sends from your own email account: No — its help center says outreach emails go from a LoopCV email account (user'[email protected]) because Google requires a permission to send from a personal Gmail address, and that a custom SMTP account is an optional feature
  • Sends follow-ups for you: No — its follow-up email tool generates a template you review, copy and send yourself; its site doesn't say LoopCV sends follow-ups for you
  • Lets you approve each email first: Not stated — its site doesn't say whether you can approve each outreach email before it's sent; it describes turning "Automatically send emails" on in a job search's settings, then emails going out with your CV and introduction
  • Also submits your applications: Yes — Auto-Apply submits applications for matches it finds. Its homepage FAQ lists the routes it uses: form submissions through applicant tracking systems, a browser extension, automated emails to recruiters and other methods, and its site says it applies on LinkedIn, Indeed, Glassdoor and 30+ job boards

Applier vs LoopCV

3. JobGPT: best for daily automatic applying with tailored resumes, cover letters and recruiter emails

JobGPT is an AI job search automation platform from 6figr.com. Its website says it finds relevant jobs, applies to them for you with a tailored resume and cover letter, and emails recruiters and referral contacts from your own Gmail.

  • Emails the hiring team for you: Yes — emails recruiters and referral contacts for you; its blog says outreach goes from your own Gmail, or from a JobGPT sending address if you don't connect Gmail
  • Sends from your own email account: Yes — its blog says outreach is sent from your own Gmail so replies land in your inbox; connecting Gmail is optional, and without it emails go from a JobGPT sending address
  • Sends follow-ups for you: Not stated — its blog says JobGPT "follows up with people at the company" after applying, but doesn't say how many follow-ups it sends or when
  • Lets you approve each email first: Not stated — its website doesn't describe reviewing recruiter emails before they're sent
  • Also submits your applications: Yes — fills out application forms on your behalf; its blog says this covers company career pages and ATS forms, including Greenhouse, Lever, Workday and Ashby, not only LinkedIn Easy Apply

Applier vs JobGPT

4. JAAP: best for nightly LinkedIn Easy Apply plus cold emails, approved by one tap

JAAP is a job search automation tool that finds roles, submits LinkedIn Easy Apply applications and cold-emails the hiring manager from your Gmail. Its website says every application and outreach email needs your one-tap approval in Telegram before it goes out.

  • Emails the hiring team for you: Yes — finds a hiring manager's name, title and verified email, then emails them from your Gmail
  • Sends from your own email account: Yes — emails go out from your own Gmail, connected with Google OAuth
  • Sends follow-ups for you: Yes — a 3-email sequence that stops when the hiring manager replies
  • Lets you approve each email first: Yes — each email draft is shown to you with its subject line, body and CV bullets before it sends, and you can ask for a regeneration
  • Also submits your applications: Yes — LinkedIn Easy Apply applications, sent after you approve the match with one tap in Telegram

Applier vs JAAP

5. Apply Ops: best for emailing the hiring manager directly, with the application left to you

Apply Ops is a cold-email tool for job seekers. It finds roles that match your resume across job boards, identifies the recruiter, hiring manager or founder behind each one, and sends a personalized email plus one follow-up from your own Gmail.

  • Emails the hiring team for you: Yes — identifies the recruiter, hiring manager or founder behind each matched role, verifies the email address, and sends a personalized email plus one follow-up from your own Gmail
  • Sends from your own email account: Yes — emails send from your own connected Gmail account, not a shared sending domain
  • Sends follow-ups for you: Yes — one follow-up per contact, scheduled automatically and only after the first email has been delivered
  • Lets you approve each email first: Yes — nothing is sent without your explicit click; every draft is reviewed and edited in the Gmail sidebar first
  • Also submits your applications: No — its website says it "leaves the submit with you" and that you apply on the original posting yourself; each matched role links to the posting on the board it came from

Applier vs Apply Ops

6. Warmada: best for researching a likely hiring manager and drafting outreach you approve

Warmada is a hiring manager outreach tool for job seekers. Its website says it reads a job posting, suggests the person most likely hiring for it, looks up a work email and drafts a note you review and send from your connected Gmail.

  • Emails the hiring team for you: Yes — writes a first draft to the suggested hiring contact and sends the approved email from your connected Gmail; its FAQ says you can send up to 15 emails a day
  • Sends from your own email account: Yes — the approved email goes out through your connected Gmail
  • Sends follow-ups for you: No — its board shows nudge reminders for messages that need a follow-up; its homepage says you read every draft and send it yourself
  • Lets you approve each email first: Yes — sending requires your approval; you read and edit the draft in the review flow before it goes out
  • Also submits your applications: No — its homepage starts from a posting you have already applied to; its FAQ describes the product as identifying a likely hiring manager, looking up a work email and drafting outreach you review before sending, leaving the application itself to you

Applier vs Warmada

7. ToInbox: best for emailing department heads and recruiters behind LinkedIn jobs

ToInbox is a Chrome extension that works inside LinkedIn. Its website says it finds the department head and the recruiter behind a LinkedIn job and emails your application and resume to their inboxes from your own Gmail.

  • Emails the hiring team for you: Yes — finds the department head and the recruiter behind a LinkedIn job and emails your application and resume to them, with a separate personalised email to each
  • Sends from your own email account: Yes — sends from your connected Gmail; its privacy policy says the only Gmail permission it asks for is sending email on your behalf from your address
  • Sends follow-ups for you: Yes — its Chrome Web Store listing says it sends a follow-up after 40 hours if there's no reply; each plan includes one auto follow-up credit per send
  • Lets you approve each email first: Not stated — its Chrome Web Store listing says clicking Send Application generates the email and sends it, while its privacy policy says emails are generated for your review; its website doesn't say whether you approve each email before it goes out
  • Also submits your applications: No — its Chrome Web Store listing says it routes around the Easy Apply queue: your application lands in the personal inbox of a hiring contact rather than going through LinkedIn's apply button or the employer's form

Applier vs ToInbox
