Applier vs JAAP
JAAP is a job search automation tool that finds roles, submits LinkedIn Easy Apply applications and cold-emails the hiring manager from your Gmail. Its website says every application and outreach email needs your one-tap approval in Telegram before it goes out.
The short answer
- Choose Applier if you want applications submitted on employers' own sites, employer verification email handled, and 1 to 3 hiring-team contacts emailed per application.
- Choose JAAP if you want to approve matches and emails with one tap from your phone and follow up on LinkedIn Easy Apply roles with a 3-email sequence.
Why pick Applier over JAAP
- Your applications go in on the employer's own application form or applicant tracking system, whether that's Workday, Greenhouse, Lever or the company's careers page, not through a job board's quick-apply button. JAAP's website says it submits through LinkedIn Easy Apply.
- Employer verification emails go to an application mailbox Applier gives you, so an application doesn't wait on you to chase a code. JAAP's website doesn't say how it handles verification emails.
- Applier emails 1, 2 or 3 people on the hiring team for each application, depending on plan, then follows up 3 and 7 business days later. JAAP's website describes a 3-email sequence to one researched contact.
- You choose how much you approve: Review mode approves each application, Hybrid sends strong matches on its own, and Auto needs no individual approval. JAAP's website says every job match and every outreach draft needs your one-tap approval.
It applies on the employer's own site, whatever it uses
- Applier applies on the employer's own application form, whatever system the company uses: Workday, Greenhouse, Lever or its own careers page. It isn't tied to a list of supported systems.
- It never signs in to your LinkedIn, Indeed or other job-board accounts. Applications go to the employer directly, not through the board.
- There's no browser extension to install. Applier runs on its own servers and never needs access to your browser, so it keeps applying while your computer is off.
When JAAP may suit you better
- You can approve or skip a job match from your phone with one tap in Telegram, without opening a laptop.
- A 3-email sequence keeps following up with the hiring manager, stops the moment they reply, and sends you a Telegram alert.
- After each application, an Application Receipt shows the hiring manager's name and email, the subject and the full body of the email that went out.
- Its free Starter plan includes LinkedIn Easy Apply automation and basic reply detection.

How JAAP works
According to its website, you set your role, location, salary range and industry preferences once, and JAAP searches Google Jobs and LinkedIn every night, scoring each role against your profile. The top matches arrive as a Telegram message with the job, a fit score and an AI-written cover letter, and you approve or skip each one with a tap. On approval it submits a LinkedIn Easy Apply application, then researches a hiring manager's name, title and verified email. It writes a personalised email from your own Gmail, followed by a 3-email sequence that stops when the hiring manager replies, and an Application Receipt records the email that was sent.
How Applier works

What still needs you
- Applier fills in answers you haven't given and lists them under Answers to check, so you can confirm or correct each one.
- In Review mode, you approve each job before Applier applies. In Hybrid and Auto, Applier applies on its own.
- Some applications can't be finished; these show as Failed in your dashboard.

Frequently asked questions
Does JAAP submit applications for you?
Yes. JAAP's website says it submits LinkedIn Easy Apply applications on your behalf with an AI-written cover letter, after you approve the match in Telegram. Applier submits on the employer's own application form or applicant tracking system instead, not through a job board's apply button.
Does JAAP email hiring managers for you?
Yes. It finds a hiring manager's name, title and email, then sends a personalised email from your own Gmail, followed by a 3-email sequence that stops when they reply. Applier emails 1, 2 or 3 people on the hiring team per application, depending on plan, with follow-ups 3 and 7 business days later.
Can I approve each JAAP application and email before it goes out?
JAAP's website says every job match and every outreach draft needs your one-tap approval in Telegram, and each application comes with a receipt of the email that was sent. Applier gives you Review mode for approving each application, plus Hybrid and Auto modes when you want less involvement.
