Applier vs JobCopilot
JobCopilot is an AI job application automation service. Its website says you set up a copilot once with your resume and screening answers, and it finds new jobs on company career pages and fills in applications on your behalf, either submitting them or saving them for your review.
The short answer
- Choose Applier if you want introductions to hiring managers written and sent for you from your own Gmail, with follow-ups 3 and 7 business days later.
- Choose JobCopilot if you're happy to contact hiring managers yourself, using the emails and LinkedIn profiles it finds and unlocks, and want a Chrome extension that autofills forms on other sites.
Why pick Applier over JobCopilot
- Applier writes and sends the hiring-manager emails for you: 1 to 3 introductions per application from your own Gmail, depending on plan, with follow-ups 3 and 7 business days later. JobCopilot finds the contacts and you send the emails.
- Every application includes a new cover letter written for that role. JobCopilot offers a cover letter builder, and its website doesn't say whether auto-applied applications include one.
- Your resume is tailored to each job ad's wording on every plan. JobCopilot's website says resume tailoring is on its Elite plan.
- Applier runs on its own servers, so there is nothing to install and it keeps applying while your computer is off. JobCopilot's website doesn't say where its copilot runs.
- Employer verification emails go to an application mailbox Applier gives you, so they're handled without you. JobCopilot's website doesn't say whether it handles verification emails.
It applies on the employer's own site, whatever it uses
- Applier applies on the employer's own application form, whatever system the company uses: Workday, Greenhouse, Lever or its own careers page. It isn't tied to a list of supported systems.
- It never signs in to your LinkedIn, Indeed or other job-board accounts. Applications go to the employer directly, not through the board.
- There's no browser extension to install. Applier runs on its own servers and never needs access to your browser, so it keeps applying while your computer is off.
When JobCopilot may suit you better
- It checks for new postings every 2 hours across what it says are 500,000+ company career pages (as of August 2025) and emails a daily recap of jobs it applied to.
- You can train the copilot: it remembers your edits to AI-written answers and has writing-style controls for sentence length, tone and vocabulary.
- Its Chrome extension autofills application forms on company sites, job boards and ATS pages, and you review and submit.
- The same account includes a job application tracker, AI resume builder, AI mock interviews and AI career tools.

How JobCopilot works
According to JobCopilot's website, you create a copilot by choosing job titles and filters, uploading your resume once, and answering standard screening questions. Every 2 hours the copilot searches for new matching jobs on company career pages and auto-fills the application forms using your resume and answers, then either submits them or saves them for you to review. Applied jobs go into an application tracker and you get a daily email recap. Edits you make to its answers are remembered to improve later answers. For hiring managers, JobCopilot lets you search contacts by function, management level and location and use credits to reveal their email and LinkedIn profile; you then contact them yourself. Separately, its Chrome extension auto-fills forms on other sites and you review and submit them yourself.
How Applier works
Applier is an AI job application service. It finds open roles that match your profile, tailors your resume and cover letter to each one, submits the application on the employer's site, then emails the hiring manager from your Gmail. See how Applier works, including what still needs you.
New members can try Applier free for 7 days, and the first paid month is backed by an interview guarantee.
It also gives you an interview pack for each submitted application, an Inbox that labels employer email, Answers to check, and a daily email when something needs you. See every Applier feature.
What still needs you
- Applier fills in answers you haven't given and lists them under Answers to check, so you can confirm or correct each one.

- Some applications can't be finished; these show as Failed in your dashboard.
