How Applier applies to jobs for you

Applier is an AI job application service. It finds open roles that match your profile, tailors your resume and cover letter to each one, submits the application on the employer's site, then emails the hiring manager from your Gmail.

You shouldn't need a second job just to find a job. Meet Applier. Tell it what you want once: the roles, the places, the pay. It finds roles that match you, and shows how well each one fits. For every role, it tailors your resume and writes a new cover letter. Then it applies on the employer's own site, and emails the hiring manager from your own Gmail. In Review mode, you approve each one before it goes. Or let it run on its own. Every application and every email, in one place. Applier. AI that applies to jobs and emails hiring managers. Try it free for 7 days at getapplier.com.

1. Tell Applier what you want

Answer a questionnaire about the roles, locations, remote work, salary and work authorization you want, and upload your resume. You can change your preferences later in Settings.

2. Applier finds matching roles

Applier keeps searching job listings and checks each one against your profile. Each match is labelled a strong match, a stretch or a related role.

3. It tailors your documents

For each role, Applier tailors your resume to the job ad's wording and writes a new cover letter.

4. It submits the application

Applier fills in and submits the application on the employer's own application form or applicant tracking system, never through a job board's quick-apply button, so it never needs your job-board accounts. It isn't tied to a list of supported systems: it applies whether the company uses Workday, Greenhouse, Lever or its own careers page. Applier runs on its own servers, so there's no browser extension to install and it applies while your computer is off.

Employer emails, such as verification codes, go to an application mailbox Applier gives you, so applications don't wait on you.

5. It emails the hiring manager

After an application is submitted, Applier finds people on the hiring team and writes each a short introduction from your own Gmail, so replies come straight to you: 1 contact per application on Starter, 2 on Pro and 3 on Max, and 1 during the free trial. Follow-ups are scheduled 3 and 7 business days later. Introductions need a connected Gmail — see what Applier does with your Gmail.

Choose how hands-off it is

Applications and introductions each have their own mode. When you start the free trial, you pick the mode for applications: Hybrid, which is preselected, or Review. Introductions start in Review. You can switch either one in Settings at any time.

ModeApplicationsIntroductions
ReviewYou approve each job before Applier applies.Applier prepares each introduction and follow-up; you approve each one before it's sent.
HybridApplier applies to strong matches on its own. Stretches and related roles wait for you.Applier sends introductions and follow-ups for strong matches. You review those for stretches and related roles.
AutoApplier applies to every match on its own, strong matches first.Applier sends eligible introductions and follow-ups for every match without individual approval.

You can pause job matching, applications or introductions separately at any time. Pausing stops future work; nothing already sent is undone.

What still needs you

  • Even in Auto, Applier holds a match for you when it can't confirm the job fits a rule you set — for example, an employer or industry you asked to avoid, or a job in a country it can't confirm — and shows you why.
  • When an application asks something you haven't answered, Applier fills in an answer and lists it under Answers to check. You can confirm or correct it, and Applier uses yours from then on.
  • Some applications can't be finished; these show as Failed in your dashboard.
  • Applications stop when you reach your plan's monthly allowance, until your next billing month or until you add a 50-application pack. The 7-day free trial sends up to 10 applications; further matches wait until your plan starts.
  • Applier acts on your behalf: applications and introductions go out in your name, so keep your resume and profile accurate.
